Welcome to ...

... the Taxation Awards 2010

It is my privilege to introduce the winners of the LexisNexis Taxation Awards 2010, following a spectacular ceremony held in the grand ballroom of London’s Park Lane Hilton on 20 May.

I am delighted that in excess of 650 tax professionals assembled to celebrate the achievements of many friends and colleagues – and I would like to extend, on behalf of all at LexisNexis, my most sincere congratulations to the winners and all those who were shortlisted for a prize.

The judges always face a difficult task in deciding on the worthy winners from an enormous amount of entries. This year was no exception, and I am very grateful to them for the skill, time and effort they put into this job.

In addition, I would like to thank the many people involved in putting on the awards, including colleagues at RBI and within LexisNexis. It turned out to be a truly memorable evening.

We have again been pleased to support the work of TaxAid in representing those who cannot afford to pay for tax advice.

Finally, but most importantly, it would not be possible to hold the awards without the support of our sponsors. I would like to thank them for their continued commitment to making this the highlight of the tax calendar.
